MURALS

Sinan Hussein’s Murals

Sinan has always been interested in painting murals that deals with very sensitive topics, whether political or social.  For sinan, the murals are about addressing signficant societal and political issues and facts that occur in our daily lives. He deals with these problems with his brush and his creatures.

Sinan begins to tell a story that might be considered by some people senstive or intimdating, with trying his best effort to highlight the bright side of the story despite its pain and grief.

The concept of these murals is about the youth who were at the demonstrations; “they came to the protests with pure positive hearts to stand up for their country, families, future and what they believe in. The closer they get to achieve their demands their hearts turn to green fields full of life and joy. They were inspiring young men and women with hearts so tender yet full of courage.” This was Sinan Hussein’s observation in October 2019, “a life experience” he has witnessed with his own eyes while he was standing between Iraq’s young protesters in the heart of the demonstration.
